Im sure my home is around here somewhere Lana was humanely tapped by a home owner on Ocean Blvd and brought to the Coronado Animal Care Facility as a stray. The homeowner said that she kept coming into their yard and seemed to be looking for her owner. Although Lana is microchipped, the microchip was never registered and no one has come looking for this gorgeous beauty. Lana is quite social with people, responding to pets and rubs on her forehead with a gentle purr. She will nudge you to let you know that you need to keep petting. She has shown us in no uncertain terms that she absolutely loves treats and will follow you anywhere to partake of the cat treat bag offerings. And cat nip makes her roll in delight! Although so very social, she may not have been living with another cat in the recent past. But, she is adjusting to cat community living and has shown no signs of aggression towards the other cats and will back down if one of them hisses at her. You simply must come meet this beautiful and charming lady to see for yourself what a lovely cat she is! You can meet Lana at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at xxxx First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex. If you are interested in adopting Lana, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor.
