You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Karma! Karma originally came to ITP when she was just 4 months old with a fractured leg after being hit by a car. Due to the growth plate not growing, the leg did eventually have to be amputated. When she was still a young pup, Karma was adopted by a family who recently had their home foreclosed on and were unable to care for her the way she deserved. They contacted us to surrender her back to us, however there was a small problem .... they were living in Arizona and had no way to bring her back to us. Thanks to several of our RSV's, we were able to get Karma from Arizona back to us in San Diego. Although Karma only has 3 legs, she does not let that slow her down at all! She is an absolutely amazing lady who is fabulous with everybody - and we mean everybody! Dogs of all sizes, cats, kids - she even lived with an aggressive large male who she got along with. She truly is a sweetheart with a loving and gentle nature. In addition to being well-behaved she is completely trustworthy in the home and does not required to be kenneled. Karma would make a great addition to just about any home - as a companion to your existing dog (or kitties!) and/or to be a best friend to your children.
