Outgoing, friendly, energetic, playful, active, healthy, and AWESOME are just a few words that describe our sweet boy Brooks. A Good Samaritan saw this [at the time] emaciated boy being dumped in an alley in Compton, and brought him to the local shelter in Los Angeles where we rescued him from in October. Brookss story has a sad beginning, but we are hopeful this amazing boy will find his happily ever after! Brooks is settling into life at TBL well and we are all big fans of this happy boy. He is very loving and people motivated, and will sneak you kisses whenever he can. He has a lot of peppy energy and his tail just goes nonstop. This affectionate boy sits down automatically when you pet him, and he puts on this goofy smile as though being next to you is his favorite thing in the world. Brooks loves to play with toys, and he is treadmill trained. One of his best friends is another TBL temporary barker named Jasmine, who we also rescued from LA at the same time (attached is a video of them playing together). They love to lay together in the sun, and give each other kisses. Brooks has passed a cat test with distinction, so he would also do great in a home with felines. Brooks is awesome because he has already gone through obedience training and is a rock star at his basic commands. He already comes potty trained and has great house manners.
