Little lady Leda looks like a puppy right out of The Little Rascals with her adorable face, and mismatched, floppy ears. This 8-month old girl was rescued from San Bernardino, along with buddies Callisto and Europa. This little trio has quickly ingratiated themselves with volunteers at The Barking Lot, as they jump around for joy in their kennels anytime somebody walks by to say hello. Leda is definitely the spunkiest girl of the group, and she can often be seen romping around and pulling on Callistos tail when he isnt looking. This Fox Terrier/Corgi girl weighs about 25 or so pounds, and should be about 30-35 pounds once she is full grown. She is mostly white, with several dark brown patches of hair on her body, mainly on her tail and ears. Leda loves going for walks with volunteers, although sometimes she gets so distracted by the possibility of playing with and giving kisses to a human friend, that not much walking gets accomplished in the first 5 or so minutes of the excursion! There is no doubt that Leda is in the prime of her puppy years, as she has a vibrant puppy energy that can be seen as she romps in the grass or play chases other puppies in the play yard. Leda is probably going to need to be taught the basics of housebreaking, but with a little guidance, we have confidence that Leda will pick it up fast.
