Hobbs, affectionately termed a Classic Barker, has been patiently awaiting a forever family at The Barking Lot since his arrival in xxxx. Luckily for Hobbs, a foster family has taken him in while he waits for his permanent home. At around 5-years-old, this Cairn Terrier/Boston Terrier mix is fully-grown at 15 pounds, with a wiry tan coat and adorable scraggles of hair around his face. While Hobbs has previously been described as an independent sort of fellow (and this remains true the little guy knows how to entertain himself when others cant), his foster mom reports that he is also quite the love bug, and greets her every morning with kisses after he wakes up from his under-the-covers snuggle session, of course. Hobbs foster mom says that he is the epitome of feisty, and that is one of the things she loves most about him. He also LOVES fetch, and is eager to drop his ball at the feet of anyone who is willing to throw it for him. However, if potential ball throwers are busy or not around, Hobbs, as the attached video shows, likes to take his ball outside, run it up a hill, drop the ball, watch it roll down the hill, and chase it as it goes, ready to begin the game anew once the ball is safely in his mouth. When play time is done, Hobbs knows how to settle down, too, as he loves to snuggle on the sofa while getting belly rubs and head pats. Hobbs is completely housebroken and so polite that he asks to be taken out when he needs to go to the bathroom. True to terrier form, he is smart and picks up commands quickly. Did we mention that this awesome little guy gets along with dogs AND is friendly with cats, too?
