You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Big Jack! Jack was surrendered by his family to one of our local shelters. Jack was owned by their son, but when the son was in an accident and required rehabilitation, the family found themselves unable to care for Jack any longer. Jack was taken to the shelter, where, like most big, black, boy dogs, he was passed by again and again. Other local rescues declined helping him, not lab enough, not really a Dane or a Shepherd, Jack falls right in the middle, but for us that didn't matter! When our volunteer went and met him she just s aw a big, goofy, well-mannered boy who wanted a chance at life...well....YOU GOT IT, JACK! Jack is five years old and is 90 pounds of pure love. He knows sit, down, shake, and roll over and is great with other dogs. He loves people and is calm around children. Jack has muscle atrophy disease in his rear leg, but it doesn't seem to bother him.
